Step one
Decide whether search or category browsing fits the moment.
Use search when your idea is specific. Use a category when you only know the type of
item and want to compare similar results first.
Step two
Judge the listing before you judge the product.
A useful listing should give enough photos, sizing, price context, and detail to make
comparison possible. If the page is vague, keep browsing.
Step three
Use photos and measurements as your first filter.
Thumbnails are only a starting point. Shape, stitching, fabric, hardware, measurements,
and close-up photos tell you more than the first image.
Step four
Keep only the results that survive a second look.
If a result still looks useful after you check photos, size, price, and category fit,
then it deserves more time. Everything else can be closed.
